Here are a couple of videos of Maddie and Isaac singing their latest tunes. I had to bribe them with chocolate, but figure it will be worth it in the future for posterity's sake.
And yes, those are Isaac's Go, Diego! Go! undies that Maddie is wearing on top of her pajamas. Her fashion sense at such a young age makes a mama proud.

Sometimes...
...you just have to pick your battles. Our little fireball refused to wear anything but these little undies over her diaper the other day.
Good thing I'm still afraid to take all three kids out by myself. Feel free to run around in your undies, little girl, because we aren't going anywhere just yet.

The Best
Grandma Mary-Ann saying goodbye to a sleeping, swaddled Davis this morning.
Grandma Mary-Ann came for a visit this past week. We love her so much and feel so blessed that she was able to drop everything and come stay with us at a moment's notice. What would we do without Grandmas? They really are the best.
Thank you, Mary-Ann!

Davis at Two Weeks Old
Here are a few pictures I took of Davis this morning. I think he looks pretty handsome in red. I tried to capture on camera his blonde spikey hair, but couldn't really do it justice. I really hope it doesn't fall out because I think it's adorable.
Could this boy look any more like his father's side of the family? I promise I really am his mother...
Like most newborns, Davis does a lot of eating, filling up his diaper, and sleeping.
Isaac and Maddie haven't asked me when we are taking him back to the hospital, so I think they like him. Isaac is often heard saying, "Oh mama, he is berry berry cute!" and Maddie will then repeat it. She has also been known to come up to me and very matter of factly say, "Hold it! Bebe Davis! Hold it! Bebe Davis"---translation: let me hold my brother RIGHT NOW!
So far, we have only had one incident where Isaac thought it was hilariously funny to rock the pack 'n' play back and forth as fast as he could while little Davis was taking a nap. Our wide-eyed babe didn't find it humorous at all to be the little pinball in his brother's game. Needless to say, timeout for Ike came quickly that day.
We love our little angel baby more and more every day and are so happy that he's a part of our family.

Davis' Bedroom
We have officially outgrown our two-bedroom apartment, so Davis sleeps in what used to be our pantry. It could be worse, right? Thanks to my thoughtful friend, Becca, we even have a mini pack 'n' play that fits in there perfectly. In a few weeks we will be moving to Utah, where he will upgrade to a room with a window and a roommate (his big sister). For now, he doesn't seem to mind his current situation. Think of the stories he could one day tell his future children about sleeping in a closet...
