Por Favor!!!!

You'll have to forgive me for this video clip. It's mostly just for me and probably won't interest most of the readers of this blog, but I want to remember how this little girl started out saying por favor, because it won't be long now and she will be saying it clear as a bell and I'll miss the Scooby-Doo sounding please that she uses now. If you do listen, do so with a little bit of an imagination-----she says por favor two times in the video, both right after I ask her to.
We are still working on saying por favor with a more humble spirit. Right now she barks it at us as if to say give it to me now!
At least she's saying it, right?
Enjoy Ryan's noises in the background--he was trying to get her to make her angry fist face for the camera.

Name that Tune

Here's a clip of Isaac singing his most recent favorite. He especially loves to sing in the car and will sometimes belt it out at the top of his lungs 3 or 4 times in a row. It cracks me up every time!
Notice how he barely misses a beat even while taking a tumble...

Warning...

Don't mess with this girl. When she doesn't get what she wants, she squeezes her fists at you so tightly that she starts to tremble all over, while simultaneously screaming at you.
She did it to Ryan tonight when he failed to feed her strawberries fast enough at dinner.
I'm not sure when or how it happened, but sometime in the last couple of months, my sweet little innocent baby has turned into little miss feisty, sassy pants! She walks around the house like she owns the place and squawks and anyone who gets in her way. I always said that she was the easiest little baby from the day she was born and that one day she would probably give us a run for our money.
Just didn't think I would be right so soon.

'Tis the Season

Corn on the cob has a new fan. It doesn't get much tastier (or messier) than this.

Utah Summer 2009 in Pictures

Doesn't my dad look thrilled? It's the only shot I got of him the whole trip (I think you need to send me some tree house/tractor pics, D!)
Playing with Grandma.
Addie and Krystal at the family reunion.
Shannon enjoying the talent show.
Not sure what she was asking me for here, but I'm pretty sure she got what she wanted. Impossible to say "no" to that face.
Entertaining the Grandparents at the family reunion.
Ellie recited a poem for her talent.
Ryan's talent was putting together a rock/paper/scissors tourney. Natalee won by a landslide.
This guy can play anything on the recorder.
Don't they look entertained?
Just like Papa.
Anything to keep her happy during our 4 days in the car. We are currently in detox mode from candy, juice, and movies. They keep asking for it because I gave them whatever they wanted in the car. They were troopers and we only suffered a few meltdowns (most of which came from me).
He does not like the sun in his eyes. We do what we can.
The trip took a toll on Isaac after awhile. He NEVER falls asleep like this.
Hanging out in downtown SLC.
Isaac enjoyed the fountains a little more than Maddie did.
But she warmed up to it after awhile.
Our family with my mom's parents.
My friend Jill and her daughter, Katie. She is my oldest friend. I'm pretty sure we were bffs before we could talk. Katie is a spitting image of what Jill looked like as a little girl. I was always jealous of her beautiful hair.
That giant platform behind Ryan and Maddie will soon be a full-blown tree house.
Pretty sure Livy's ready for the big girl swing.
Harper's blessing day. I couldn't wait to meet this little angel.
I held her as much as I possibly could.
Maddie and Grandpa P.
On the train at "This is the Place" State Park
He took countless rides in Grandpa's tractor.
Aunt Corey
Carson and Natalee on a sugar high.
He got a little bored with the baseball game.
Eating cotton candy for the first time.
